Our Class 300 fabricated flanged end basket strainers, model 186FAB-B, are designed to remove foreign particles from pipelines, providing efficient and economical protection for pumps, valves, and similar costly equipment.

Features
• Economical Protection: Strains foreign matter from pipelines, safeguarding pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• High Capacity and Easy Maintenance: Suited for medium and coarse straining applications like brine, paint, fuel oil, organic and inorganic chemicals, as well as condensers and heat exchangers.
• Durable Construction: Fabricated body with a 304 stainless steel basket strainer that allows a straight-through flow for extremely low pressure drop.
• Versatile Sizes: Available in sizes ranging from 2 in. to 24 in. (50 – 600 mm).

Construction
• Effective Design: Angular cutaway design of the baskets allows a straight-through flow, resulting in extremely low pressure drop.
• Easy Self-Cleaning: Tapped and plugged NPT drain on the strainer bottom enables easy self-cleaning on open bottom baskets. Simply open the valve or plug on the outlet to flush accumulated particles.
• Flexible Configuration: Bodies can be tapped for pressure gauges, or per customer requirement. Consult factory.
