Series 692MFD-SM Duplex Smart Strainers: Intelligent Monitoring and Superior Performance

The Mueller Steam Specialty Series 692MFD-SM Duplex Smart Strainer provides users with performance data of their duplex strainer and enables informed maintenance decisions. The Smart Strainer offers a proactive way to avoid expensive repairs and ensures efficient and smooth operation of the overall system. Designed for use in fluid handling systems where the flow cannot be shut down for basket cleaning, it is ideal for various applications including cooling water, compressors, condensers, fire lines, fuel lines, lubrication systems, salt and fresh water systems, chemical process systems, pump suction service, and more. Class 150.

Features
• Sizes: Available in sizes 8 – 16 IN (200 – 400 MM).
• Smart Monitoring: SentryPlus Alert technology comes standard on all sizes, with two pre-installed pressure sensors at the inlet and outlet of the strainer.
• Connection Kits: Required to activate the pressure monitoring capability and collect data from the sensors (kit sold separately). Available for BMS systems (RS-485 MODBUS or BACnet) or an alternate cellular communication gateway (alert only, no streaming).
• Robust Construction: Cast carbon steel body and 304 stainless steel basket that is gasketed and seated to prevent particle bypass.
• Continuous Operation: Designed for fluid handling applications where flow cannot be shut down for basket cleaning.
• Typical Services: Cooling water, compressors, condensers, fire lines, fuel lines, lubrication systems, salt and freshwater systems, chemical process systems, pump suction service, and more.
