Class 150 Stainless Steel Basket Strainers: Efficient and Reliable Protection

Our Class 150 Stainless Steel flanged end basket strainers, model 185-SS, are designed for chemical process applications, including brine, paint, fuel oil, organic and inorganic chemicals, condensers, heat exchangers, and other similar applications. These strainers provide economical protection for costly pumps, meters, valves, and other mechanical equipment by straining foreign matter from pipelines.

• Economical Protection: Strains foreign matter from pipelines, safeguarding pumps, meters, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• High Capacity and Easy Maintenance: Ideal for medium and coarse straining applications like brine, paint, fuel oil, organic and inorganic chemicals, as well as condensers, heat exchangers, and more.
• Durable Construction: Cast Stainless Steel body with a 304 stainless steel basket strainer that allows a straight-through flow, resulting in extremely low pressure drop.
• Versatile Sizes: Available in sizes ranging from 1½ in. to 20 in. (40 – 500 mm).
• Easy Self-Cleaning: Tapped and plugged NPT drain on the strainer bottom enables easy self-cleaning on open bottom baskets. Simply open the valve or plug on the outlet to flush accumulated particles.
• Customisable Design: Bodies can be tapped for pressure gauges or per customer requirements. Consult the factory for details.

• Effective Design: Angular cutaway design of the baskets allows a straight-through flow, resulting in extremely low pressure drop.
